Wallace International LLC, along with its in-country Nigerian partner, Zobeten hosted two one-week basic GIS training courses at the Wallace International-sponsored training facility. Two groups of eleven Nigerian Department of Resources (DPR) Professionals and Managers came to Dallas to receive basic training in the use of  the Arc-View software as well as learning basic concepts. This is the fifth session that this basic GIS course has been offered by Wallace International.

DPR director, Mr. W.A. Obage made the trip to Dallas to review the progress and to give an inspiring talk relating the importance of GIS to the oil and gas business in Nigeria.
