The SP log measurement occasionally can be affected by electrochemical and electro- kinetic potentials during the logging operation. This can result in what appears as ‘drift’. Our service provides you an inexpensive and quick turn-around process that removes these unwelcomed effects. An LAS file with the corrected SP will be provided.

Description
The SP log is used for delineating porous and permeable layers, calculating the resistivity of interstitial water, estimating the clay content of shaly formations as well as other interpretive processing. It is the reference from which the net SP deflection is measured.
Wallace International will make sure that your SP measurement is free of baseline shifts or “drifts” due to down-hole electro-chemical and/or electro-kinetic effects. Simply type in the Top and Base depth of the interval you want baseline corrected. The net footage will determine the cost for the work.
